ABOUT
Momentum Creative Technology Inc. (MCT) is a Canadian software studio dedicated to building digital tools that feel intuitive — tools that let creativity flow without friction. Our focus is on creating software that supports the user experience, enhances clarity, and makes complex tasks easier to understand.
We currently develop add-ons for existing creative platforms, including Blender, where our tools improve workflow precision, visual clarity, and overall usability. As the studio grows, we are expanding toward standalone applications and original products designed to elevate how people learn, create, and interact with digital content.
Our primary focus is our own products, with room for the occasional collaboration when it fits naturally with our expertise.
THE FOUNDER
Momentum Creative Technology was founded by Dana R. Williams, a lifelong creator whose experience spans music, technical systems, fabrication, teaching, creative problem-solving, and software development.
Over the years, Dana has worked across a wide range of environments — including instrument repair, music instruction, metal fabrication, insurance and financial services, and more than two decades supporting nonprofit fundraising and commercial marketing organizations through large-scale data preparation and workflow systems. While the industries varied, a common thread remained: solving problems, improving processes, and helping people communicate more effectively.
Music and creativity have always remained central to Dana’s life. As a musician, teacher, visual thinker, and hands-on builder, he developed a deep appreciation for tools that feel intuitive, supportive, and human-centered rather than overly technical or impersonal.
These combined experiences ultimately led to the creation of Momentum Creative Technology — a company built around the belief that technology should empower creativity, reduce friction, and help people learn and create with greater confidence.
Outside of technology, Dana is a family-oriented optimist, lifelong learner, dog lover, and strong believer in the value of curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
